This course sets you on the path to pursue a certificate in bioregional herbalism.

In each Sunday class:

  • Expand your knowledge of body systems and common ailments
  • Learn preventative and supportive herbal preparations for specific body systems and ailments
  • Spend time in sit spot
  • Practice plant communication
  • Prepare 2 advanced herbal remedies

The Advanced Bioregional Herbalism day is divided among lecture and discussion, hands-on practice with harvesting and making remedies, walks to meet plants in their homes, time to cultivate and connect with nature’s wisdom, and opportunities to share experiences with fellow students to grow your herbalism community.

At home students are expected to:

  • Maintain a personal journal with observations from sit spot, remedy making, and using herbal infusions
  • Practice sit spot and plant communication daily
  • Prepare and incorporate nourishing herbal infusions into your daily wellness regime
  • Harvest plant materials and prepare one plant remedy
