solar-dehydratorMake your own Solar Dehydrator and begin preserving foods with the power of the sun. Using plug-in dehydrators can be costly and if you're planning to live off-grid, you'll need a solar dehydrator.

All supplies are provided and the class will be guided through the construction process of making their own solar dehydrator based on the design of noted homesteaders Larisa Walk and Bob Dahse.  You'll also learn solar dehydrating principles and techniques.

Your solar dehydrator will be approximately four feet x four feet (4'x4') and fairly heavy, so make sure you can transport it home.  Delivery can be arranged for an additional $25.

Class limited to 8 students.    RSVP DEADLINE APRIL 15th

Fee: $295, $320 with delivery
