Hone your plant id skills by learning to identify spring sprouts! Many plants are best eaten before they flower, so it's good to learn how to identify them by their leaves and habitat.
Our NEW Walk + Learn Plant ID series cultivates a deeper understanding and appreciation of the plants in your area. Through careful observation you will notice the uniqueness and similarities of plants, the families they belong to, botanical and common names and more. Practice using a field guide to key out 3-10 plants and/or trees during each walk. You will be guided by our experienced natural resource manager through various natural places in our region. Sign up for a walk near you, or take a journey and discover a new nature destination.
$20 per individual or register with a partner for $35. The series of 6 walks is $100.
