Participate in a gathering of women where the focus is on taking time to support yourself and being supported by other women. The WILD Woman Project is a world-wide movement of CIRCLES, spiritual gatherings, during the new moon. Circles are a time for meditation, intention setting, healing, and connection with community. They create a sacred space for participants to access their inner guidance while allowing for deeper connection to other women and nature. Circles also provide a forum for creativity, community, and ritual. These ingredients result in a unique alchemy of moving into a wholeness (WILD-ness) of being.
The WILD Woman Project circles are not associated with a singular path or religion, but rather, an inclusive coming together with women from all paths. We all come from different spiritual/cultural backgrounds and gather around the ideas of: Sisterhood (having each others backs, empowering one another), a respect for the earth (wildness, turning to nature as a teacher) & co-creation (the understanding that just as we co-create our experience in circle, so do we co-create life on earth).
Please bring the following items if you have them available: Journal and writing utensil, yoga mat, a pillow or cushion to sit comfortably on the floor for meditation, and inside shoes or slippers. You may also bring an item for the altar.
WILD Woman Project Circles will meet in accord with the new moon, as this is traditionally a time for going inward and self-reflection. Each new moon circle is inspired by a unique theme.

Allison Mitch is your WILD Woman Project Circles Facilitator. She is an ecologist, physical therapist and healing arts practitioner (yoga, reiki), part time professor, and mom – an eclectic professional and personal mix that birthed her own WILD woman through the recognition of the connection and depth with all of life. In her circles, she seeks to create a sacred and inviting space for self-reflection, meditation, healing, and reconnection with nature for the return of soulfulness, or “re-wilding”. Allison is also committed to increasing the connection of her children and her community with nature by offering family nature excursions (Naperville Family Nature Club) in Naperville and the surrounding suburbs. www.wildwomaninthesuburbs.com
