Suburban Permaculture Garden Walk - Hill

Thu, August 4, 2016 06:30 PM - 08:30 PM

PERMACULTURE GARDEN - Rescheduled to August 4th

Join us for a summer of suburban permaculture home landscape tours. What better way to be inspired to start your own suburban permaculture home landscape, then by touring existing ones. Each tour represents a unique approach to integrating permaculture into the suburban landscape aesthetic. The Hill’s permaculture garden has been in process for over 5 years. Observe water harvesting swales, a rain garden, herb spiral, berry patches, and several more gardens! Both Teri & Andrew have a Permaculture Design Certificate and Teri recently completed TRI’s Bioregional Herbalism Certification Course.

Be sure to bring a NOTEBOOK! Cameras, water bottles and bug repellant are also recommended. Come and see the beginning of the suburban transition, and learn how you can do it too!

The address will be provided once registration is received. Payment can be made online via Paypal or by mail. Prepayment only.

Cost: $5

Next walk is August 21st to tour a native prairie landscape & roof with over 190 edibles!
