PDC Scholarships Available

Money Burlap bag4 PDC Scholarships have been made available due to the generosity of an individual who supports our efforts and believes in the benefits of a permaculture education to create resilient communities.

 

Apply for $300 Scholarship 

 

Application deadline:  February 7, 2014
Results will be announced via email:  February 10, 2014

Students who have already registered for the Spring 2014 PDC and meet the eligibility criteria are also eligible to apply.

 

Scholarship applications are reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • Financial need and contributing factors to affordability
  • Description of how the student will apply her/his permaculture skills to benefit a suburban community
  • The applicant’s ability to contribute the tuition balance ($900) and participate in the full course

 

All students who receive a $300 scholarship are:

  • Responsible for contributing the balance of $900 towards their tuition
  • Expected to attend all classes
  • Expected to complete the final design project
  • Expected to receive a certificate
  • To submit a report of her/his community project due April 1, 2015.

 

The tuition balance can be paid by cash or check in three installments over three months due on the following dates: February 13, March 16, and April 13, 2014.  Checks are to be made payable to The Resiliency Institute and can be brought to class or mailed to:
