VIRTUAL/HYBRID/SOCIAL DISTANCE Format due to Covid 19.
This class will be held outside. Please dress for the weather and bring insect repellant if desired. Rain date will be Thurs. 9/24 if needed.

Finally, classes to learn about the permaculture plants used in edible forest gardens and food forests! Begin to integrate these plants into your own garden. In this September class, you’ll explore one of the lower layers of a permaculture forest garden – fungi!

Permaculture edible forest gardens typically consist of at least seven layers – fungi, groundcovers, vines, herbaceous, shrubs, sub-canopy trees, and canopy trees. This class will empower you with the knowledge and confidence to effectively incorporate a tasty, functional species of fungi into your permaculture garden!

September 17th – Inoculate an oyster mushroom log (bring a drill with a 5/16 bit and a depth stopper if you can)
